Be Kind

I believe that children are born kind.

As adults, we must reinforce this behavior with our actions.

Kindness to others makes both the giver and receiver feel good.

Try it...you'll see!

I am proud to share this heart-melt post with others at Jenny Matlock's Warm Heart Wednesday.  Please stop over at her place and enjoy the Warm Heart words of others just like me!  Just click on the link above!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

"Kindness" was my word of the year for 2015... I think it kind of needs to be a lifetime commitment for me!

I so agree. Children aren't born hating either. It's a learned behavior.

Totally agree. Hatred is not a natural born instinct, it is something learned.

Kindness goes a long way indeed! I watched an experiment that showed when someone has come in contact with a rude person and then shown kindness by another person, it allows the first person to show some restraint in getting even with the rude person.
Hope that made sense:)

The picture is heart-warming. I, too, believe that children start out being kind. My two year old granddaughter kisses and hugs her 6 month old sister, telling her 'Katherine, you beautiful'. I love it!

That is adorable and a good reminder.

I'm with you, Liz, on kids being born to be kind. But the will become selfish and self-centered pretty quick if their kindness trait isn't nurtured by the responsible adults.

Can this be bought anywhere as a poster? I have a teacher friend who would like it for her room. Thanks! Chris Kelly
