Sssszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Oh, Jenny, you knucklehead! Always the prankster! It took me over 24 hours to come up with a story about the egg picture! I also need to credit Edwina (the almost 20 year old) with much assistance in this assignment!

Why complain? It really won’t do any good. Besides, most of the country is sizzling right now, so who cares? Beads of my sweat evaporate even before hitting the ground.

The grocery store is air conditioned, so maybe I’ll go get some food for the week.

As I carry my bag of groceries home, I see some kids out front. As I get closer, I see that they are frying eggs on the sidewalk.

“Hey, mind if I join you?” I’ve got some bacon here! How about some hash browns? Would you care for juice? Breakfast is served! Bon Appetit!”

Ed is very pleased with herself. And, now she's busy talking about last night's drama at Olive Garden!

Thanks for stopping by. Please slide over to Jenny's and see some of the hot stuff that my classmates have cooked up! Just click on the log below!

I heard recently about some people baking cookies on their dashboard...fu, I guess, but not near as fun as entire al fresco breakfast.

Yum! Everyone knows food tastes better if cooked on the floor! Don't forget insects are loaded with protein! LOL! Great story this week!

A sidewalk potluck breakfast ? I love it...throw caution to the wind, work with the weather instead of complaining about it and sharing with others...very nicely written ! (It was worth the wait...*wink* )

Eggs on the pavement! Wow.
Never gets THAT hot here.
This is good.

Certainly hot enough to cook breakfast outside here, but somehow the food just doesn't sound so good!

I'm sorry folks. I find normal eggs not to my taste, but all of these sidewalk-fired ones are getting revolting!
Anyway, you posted something and are with us. That's great that you did that.
I'm sure things will get better when the weather cools off.
Best wishes,

I'm going to scroll back a post or two to see what happened at OG! Enquiring minds want to know - ha!

I think this was clever. It's funny how sometimes nothing comes to you...other times I feel like I could write five different pieces about a prompt!

Great effort, though.

Go you!
