It's another day in paradise with new challenges all the time! Jenny Matlock from Saturday Centus has sucked us in for another week of difficult tasks. We are writers, with a lot to say. She wants us to say it in 25 words (it's usually 100), and I thought I wasn't going to succeed. But, I did it! The prompt for this week is "the lottery ticket..."
Every week I buy one.
Our birthdays are the numbers.
I never win, but I always buy,
except for yesterday.
Guess what numbers won?
Please stop by Saturday Centus and enjoy reading some very short stories! Just click on the logo below!
Thanks for stopping by today!

I have often had that feeling of lottery superstition as suggested in your piece. Very nice job ;-) Peace
AUGH! That's horrible! So sorry.
A very full story in 25 words. I could feel the writer's regret.
Drats. I'm frustrated for you.
Nicely done.

I think this is what keeps some people from buying tickets! Nice job! :)
Oh boy, I sure hope this was fiction! Really nice use of the prompt. And well written, I cringed when I read that last line! Kat
I have to admit, I used to do that but quit. Trick is to never look at the results. You'll avoid regrets! So well told in just 25...
I wrote this on another centus but years ago we played a certain lottery game every week. Only because we were afraid if we didn't the number would come up and we would have to kill ourselves j/k for not playing it. Luckily, for us they stopped the game and we were released LOL. Great centus.
hopefully this is just a story and not real ... it would be so awful!
Is this a true story?BTW Mrs Matlock will be cross that you didn't include the prompt! She's very strict!
Why, oh why?!
of course the cosmos works in mysterious ways
Natch! What else is new, right?

Hmmm.... your ex-husbands birthday numbers?
Arrrggghhh!!!
That would be my luck - ha!
Thanks for a perfect little micro-gem this week! You did amazingly well with this difficult challenge.
Hooray for you!
